Memorial sign to the victims of Rivne ghetto
In 78 years after the creation of Rivne ghetto, the monument to its victims was installed. Built from the bricks of the interwar period, the fragment of the wall is now a symbol of the ghetto destroyed in July 1942. This fragment of the wall literally and symbolically remembers the tragic events and suffering of Rivne ghetto victims.
Stumbling Stones (Stolperstein)
Laconic words on the brass surface are the name, date of birth, date of arrest or deportation, and date of murder. The stumbling stones, which commemorate 5 victims of Nazism, were installed in Rivne’s pavement on July 26. They are dedicated to Volodymyr Mysechko, Yakiv Sukhenko, Zuzanna Ginczanka, Yakiv and Rachel Krulyk.
