The project involves:
- conducting a series of public lectures in Rivne and Lutsk, recording podcasts of scientists about the fate of the representatives of different nationalities, as well as Ostarbeiters, women, prisoners of war in 1941-1944;
- creation and distribution of a historical graphic book about the Righteous Among the Nations, who saved the victims of the Holocaust in Volhynia;
- conducting the school «Memory Paths», the participants of which will get acquainted with the tools of memory promotion and remembrance of different groups of victims of National Socialism;
- involvement of local communities in Volhynia in the creation of tools to commemorate the events of the Second World War;
- creation of an online platform that will present the places of memory connected with the Second World War in Volhynia.
The project aims to promote such a model of collective memory that will include various social groups that fell victim to Nazism. The target groups of the project are educators, civic activists and opinion leaders and it aims to spread the principles and ideas of democracy and tolerance.
