Presentation of the documentary video "The executed town"

On September 8, 2016, the presentation of the documentary video about the Holocaust in Rivne "The executed town" took place. The film was made by the NGO “Mnemonics” within the framework of the project "Revival of multiculturalism in Rivne memorial space" with the support of Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung in Ukraine. During the discussion of the film, the liveliest debate was about the accuracy of the shooting dates, Ukrainian collaboration during the war, and the problem of (non-) reflection of the Jewish past of Rivne in its symbolic space.

Taking into account the tragic nature of the events shown in the film, the reaction of the audience after the film was quite eloquent: it was met not by applause, but by a moment of silence.
