Scientific and practical conference "Genocide of Ukrainian Roma During World War II"

On October 4, 2016, a scientific and practical conference "Genocide of Ukrainian Roma During World War II: study, teaching, commemoration" was held in Kyiv.

The main issues discussed at the conference were German and Romanian Roma policies, current historiographical trends in the study of Roma genocide, teaching the history of genocide in Ukrainian schools and universities, commemoration of genocide victims in Ukraine.

Conference organizers: Ukrainian Center for the Study of Holocaust History, National Museum of Ukrainian History in World War II, Ukrainian Institute of National Memory, Foundation “Memory, Responsibility and Future”, International Foundation “Renaissance”, Institute of Ukrainian Archeography and Source Studies named after M. Hrushevskyi of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
